If you are travelling from Llangollen, take the A5 heading West, via Corwen. Once you have passed through Corwen and crossed the River Dee, continue to the traffic lights (where the Ruthin Road joins the A5) and then straight on past the Rug Estate Farm Shop (on your left). Continue along the A5, over a bridge and straight on at another set of traffic lights. You will come to the village of Maerdy after a couple of minutes where you will see the church on the left and The Goat Pub, a little further on your right. Almost opposite The Goat take a left down a small lane. Go over a narrow bridge and through the gates straight ahead of you.
If you are travelling from Bala, take the A494 to the junction with the A5, then turn left at the traffic lights. You will come to the village of Maerdy after a couple of minutes where you will see the church on the left and The Goat Pub, a little further on your right. If you are travelling from Ruthin, take the A494 to the junction with the A5 and turn right at the traffic lights. Stay on the A5 past the Rug Estate Farm Shop (which will be on your left).
